Im not sure who is keeping stats at Perry, but I was there and I can guarantee you there was not 422 yards of offense from PC. Also, the only stat that really matters from that game is the 32-28 score

Don't think you'll hear much out of them Vikings fans...

I do believe it will be closer than 40-18. The Raiders have struggled in key areas and need to step their game up in order to compete. Excuses are worth nothing, but the raiders have 3 freshmen in starting positions and 5 sophomores. I hope to see improvement at least.

Trousdale looked really well coached when they made the trip to Lynnville in the spring. I expected to see complete dominance, but my raiders put up a fight. Then they played a team out of Nashville in 3A. I believe it was East Nashville. They were pretty evenly matched and had a hard time moving the ball. That was in the spring. I hear they have a few more guys out now and the coach has had more time with them. I wish you luck this season!

My son says he's a great guy and everyone is getting stronger in the weightroom and gaining confidence from being around him. (I believe) He has a few other alum on the staff which is going to be good for rebuilding community trust and tradition. I'm not naive enough to think we will win them all, but I do feel good about the new leadership. Only time will tell. Spring practice is almost here, maybe we will get a glimpse of what the future holds?

I believe, with some of the changes that have taken place and will take place, there will be some surprises in this region. The new region makeup makes this region a little more competitive.
