I am not sure why nobody will say it but I will! It's the TKA and it starts from the top. I have never seen such arrogance in any sport. I know you have a great team but handle it with class. You get players because mommy and daddy not what you have done you little arrogant pompous!! Shame on TSSAA for allowing the things that went on at State with this team. Hope you are happy with the trophy! You deserve nothing until you can teach your team to be respectful! Karma will come my friend!!

My apologize on this pic. Creekwood has been playing solid all year with a very young group. I just went with last years State runner up because of the experience in the bigger games to this point. Creekwood might very well hoist the AA State trophy this year. Great Season so far.

Ok this is seriously the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Coach Castle at Whitwell I'm sure would take offense to this and I know Coach Woodard to well he wants to win and host not travel 2 hours to Nashville to play a team that has been to the State Tournament 16 times and all 16 times played for the State Championship! So if anyone knows anything about softball in the State knows you are ignorant to the sport, prob best you leave your silly comments to yourself from now on. I know that nobody from middle TN wants to travel down here for a sectional and I also know that teams from this area don't want to go to Nashville. I know Goodpasture lost a legend in Lee when he retired a couple years ago, but from what I have been told by the Old Ball Coach there is that the team is in very good hands. I have personally seen that 3rd base Coach down here in Tournaments. He always has his team prepared and they were one of the sharpest teams on the field, you didn't want to face that team in elimination. So to say he is not very good is also a ignorant statement. I have seen both teams play this year I think Goodpasture wins a close one. Coach Woodard will have Silverdale ready. Good Luck!

Silverdale has a few players with experience from last years State run but also alot of players are gone from that team to. They have a new Coach and a new pitcher. As for the batting averages you have to look at the pitching they have faced especially in district. The total wins for the teams they have faced are not very good. Goodpasture is not a easy place to go win a game and Goodpasture is one of Tennessee's greatest programs. I think this will be a good game but Goodpasture wins and gets to State.

Well it all comes down to the rest of the week and weekend. I will tell you this a lot of very good teams got upset in Region Semis. So I see these teams in each classification making it to Murfreesboro. A-Unaka Meigs Whitwell Goodpasture Summertown Forrest Jackson Christian Scotts Hill AA-Elizabethton CAK Chatt Central Dekalb Waverly White House Heritage Mcnairy Central Dyersburg AAA-Morristown Powell Soddy Daisy Ooltewah Henry Co Brentwood Brighton Collierville

Summertown and Forrest are very good teams, but unless something happens to Meigs Co pitcher they will Win the State Chamipnship in 1A, and the comment they are strong without her is true but she is the reason Meigs is in the position they are. The other pitcher Meigs has leaves way to much on the plate and Summertown and Forrest would hit her very easily. Goodpasture is out I don't think they have the depth to make it, and their Pitcher has not developed like I think they would have hoped. They Question is who will be the #1 and #2 Seed in region 3?? How good are they and what happened to Silverdale??

Well I got out and watched the Friendship Playday this weekend. Dekalb is loaded with pitching, hitting, speed and depth. They will make murfreesboro if they stay healthy I believe. Friendship has everything but the pitching. The team in 1A to look out for is going to be Goodpasture dont let their size fool you.They have a pitcher that is a freshman 6'4 at least and she can spin it pretty good and was hitting high 58 59mph consistently got her at 61 mph once , but they are well coached very disciplined. Got some good hitters. Just giving a warning they are back I believe.

Anyone know if Gordonsville will be in the mix? I know Watertown should be good, but Gordonsville lost 6 seniors. And out of the Chattanooga 1A I heard silverdale lost their coach??? With Marion Co pitcher graduating who will be favored and 1 and 2 seed out of that region??

Well seems there is no teams that are head and shoulders above the rest I guess lol. Yes MRNOITALL needs to drop by and give some insight. Anyhow let me start this with some of the Midstate teams that have a shot to make some noise this year! AAA- Stewarts Creek, Clarksville AA- Of Course prob the best team in the State White House Heritage(Loaded), Waverly. A- Columbia Academy, Summertown. D2AA- Baylor, GPS D2A-Kings Academy, Friendship. Teams to possibly shake things up- Lebanon, Greenbrier, Goodpasture, PJP, Davidson Academy

Lets see what the beginning of the season looks like and see who really is a threat and who is really going to Murfreesboro in May. Let's hear why you believe your teams have a shot.
