It's shaping up to be another great camp. Some great technicians for clinic instructors, and a good group of Memphis wrestlers coming up to participate as well.

You can show up with the form and check on Monday morning! We're not capping the camp #'s anymore. REMINDER: camp starts this Monday morning (June 13). Anyone that hasn't submitted paperwork, bring it on Monday. Wrestlers should bring a lunch.

We are looking forward to a great camp this year - it will be another excellent few days of wrestling led by some top technicians/competitors including Phillip Simpson, Jeramie Welder, and Garrett Schaner. CANCELED: The SCWC staff has made the tough decision to cancel this year’s camp. It is a highlight for the coaching staff every summer, and we regret that many wrestlers won’t have the opportunity to improve during this camp. FALL CLINIC: We are in the initial plans of holding a 1-day clinic in the fall in Middle TN before wrestling season starts up. The date is TBD right now, but I’ll post final details on this clinic later!

Link to 2020 SCWC brochure Currently, the 2020 Southern Champions Wrestling Camp is scheduled to take place June 8-10 at Montgomery Bell Academy as previously announced. Our number one priority for the SCWC has always been for the safety and welfare of all concerned so we will continue to assess the situation and seek the best course with recommendations from the Nashville health community. We hope to have another exciting and successful camp this summer. However, we do realize the potential for a cancellation and as a result, we have amended our payment processing. If the camp is cancelled, all checks submitted for the early discount will be voided. This year's camp ran today, and we have 2 more days - tomorrow and Wednesday.

Camp is still open for registration - there is no limit to the # of wrestlers. If interested, show up on Monday morning with paperwork and payment and you'll be in. The brochure is linked above. Camp cost includes lunch each day and a t-shirt. We've got wrestlers from Chattanooga, Memphis, and of course middle TN - it's shaping up to be a great camp. Phillip Simpson and Jeramie Welder are the headliners. Both are great coaches, mentors, and men. Come learn from some of the best.

A few reasons to attend and what to expect at SCWC: 1. Learn technique from wrestlers / coaches that competed at the highest level 2. Get 4 - 6 matches with kids from different areas (in the past, kids have come from Memphis, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Alabama, and all over mid-TN) 3.
