Coach Brown is a class act and it will be hard to follow. Luckily he has changed the culture and shape of the program and it’s success should continue because of what he has done.

I hear they hired Shannon Williams. He was the head coach at Ooltewah around 10 years ago and has been the OC at Red Bank for the past couple years. He seems to be a very knowledgeable guy.

What a game the Red Bank vs South Pitt game would have been.

With 5 seconds left while in the victory formation, after the QB had kneeled, a Sweetwater player charged in and gave a cheap shot on a Red Bank player. A RB player then shoved that player back and drew a unsportsmanlike penalty.

Because they had players diving into knees of engaged players and Coach Brown asked the officials to watch. It happened again with a kid getting injured without penalty. I guess the officials didn’t care about the safety of our players and obviously Coach Brown does so he was upset. I have seen a lot of high school football, but that had to be the worst officiated game I have ever seen. The score was 49-10 with maybe 3 minutes left when they ejected Coach Brown for coming on the field (while he had an injured player on the ground) so the game was essentially over. I thought a coach could step onto the field with a player down? I hope the film of this game gets sent to the TSSAA for review. That crew needs to be reprimanded for the lack of safety of the players.

Kind of weird that the away stands were full at 5:30 when the gate didn’t open until 5:30. There might have been 4 people walk up when the gate opened.

I don’t know how you can say untested. Red Bank opened at 2018 5A region champ Soddy Daisy, who returned pretty much their whole offense. At 6A Ooltewah, and at the time, at 4A state ranked East Hamilton.

Red Bank’s concession stand ladies look better than that and their food is even better. That’s where I would eat if I were looking.
