i thought if greeneville was getting beat, it would be by boone. since they won, i think they will handle science hill by 10 or more and probably have home court advantage which will send them to mufreesboro. that is my opinion.

i thought the same thing but you cant blame her for passing it to the open girl. i guess she was just being a team player. i would rather have a layup attempt than a 15 footer. if they can get by the first region game, i actually think they can put out the lady devils. i think there main problem was inexperience and now that they have played a game like that, they can get done the next time.

good job lady red. this game shows that greeneville is very beatable before the state. i have a feeling these teams will be playing again before the end of this season. what a game!!!! i had no idea the bank stays open this late. we made 3 threes that was banked in. it is going to be very fun over the next couple of years watching dickson, buda and depew. greeneville did a great job on depew. i cant wait to see the rematch because i can feel it coming.

how is acting "wanting it more"? if you want to be an actor, you can try to get in a movie or something. but playing defense is not falling down because she knows she cant guard her. i thought wanting it more was playing as hard as you could and actually playing defense. it is a shame that something like this to happen. there might have been some bad calls both way. but there was only one in the last 20 seconds that went against cc. i know there is not that many referees but give me a break. morristown referees + senior night = automatic loss for cocke county.

ptsportswriter is absolutley correct. take off the 2 freshmen and you have pretty much last years team minus their best player. they won 2 games all year. those 2 freshmen are true ball players. they work to get better every day. cocke county just folded at jeff county. they panicked. expect a closer game this friday. the lady red's biggest problem is that they are lacking leadership from their seniors. buda and depew are the leaders on this team. the future looks pretty good at Cocke County.

hey ptsportswriter, when was the last time cocke co. has had 2 sweeps in a row? i know west greene and knox central were weak, but that is amazing. it seems that it has been forever since the boys and girls won on the same night. cc girls still have a lot of improving to do. they looked pretty weak in the knox central win. they really need this win against bearden thursday. that would be a huge confidence booster.

West Greene turned my head alright. they turned it right towards the exit. i simply could not watch the west greene vs. cocke county game. whoever said west greene would turn some heads should be a comedian. they got beat last night by one of the weakest but improving AAA team in the state. they had not won a game all year. rutledge beat west greene by 20 and i saw rutledge play and i thought they was an elementary team. how have they won 3 games? the refereeing made the game even worse to watch. and besides that the west greene crowd had nothing to say but negative things. it has been a long time since cc has had a sweep. and i thought Cocke County didnt have any athletes. they got more than west greene. although that was a good tackle that one boy on west greene made. too bad it wasnt football.

i think it all relies on todd jenkins. if he plays good(not meaning that he has alot of points) they should win. mo east is a little down this year. it is a pretty even matchup. east always gives all they got on the court but i think cosby will win in a very close game.

woodrick didnt do a whole lot against the zone the other night. he played decent. but when 23 made some threes and got ahead by7 or 8 cc went to a man. then cc didnt have anybody that could guard him. the way it looked to me they was trying to build his stats up. they had the game won early in the 4th quarter and kept scoring. he is good and he might have those stats, but he's not that good.

good luck to the eagles this year. dont beat up on the sorry teams too bad this year.

i was impressed with sullivan centrals shooting against cocke co. they shot well in the first half. i think they will struggle though against a decent defense. cocke co. just couldnt get out and guard the three and couldnt keep up with them. sc dont have much at the post. sullivan central from what i saw lives by the three and might cost them some games this season because they will have some off games.
