Me and my family went to see the game and it was a great game. The ref's really did let them play. It's definitely not fair to rate the Forrest girls on their scoring, because I know their coach takes them out when they get a big lead, so their scoring is not as high as it could be. I think Forrest has the best team in the district and from what I've saw, the tall blonde that wears the elastic band on her head (sorry I don't know her name). She opens the the game up for the post players and plays terrific defense. I think her name is Summer? She seems to feed the post and isn't selfish with the ball. She's my regular season MVP.

Will Clay County move up to AA in sports with the addition of Hermitage Springs? Sorry to see Hermitage Springs go, I hope the benefit outweighs the burden to the west side of the county.

All you folks are great. I enjoy getting on here and reading what you write. AuntKim, I thought I had you picked out at the Forrest/Eagleville game the other night, wrong! The lady was very gracious and I don't think she turned me in as a stalker. You're #1!

Forrest and VBC are both good teams. I think a lot of folks were counting VBC out when their talented guard was lost for the season, but the rest of the team has picked up the slack. Congrats on the win VBC.

It's hard to believe that anybody in authority would use this type of language. It's true that these things seem to open old wounds, but I am thankful we are able to discuss this, so we are aware these things are still going on. If ignorance is bliss, being informed must bring concern to what happened. There is no excuse for racial discrimination. Just because my father or grandfather talked that way, does mean I should be excused to talk that way too. Discrimination hurts everybody. I hope some good comes from this. This man is probably the tip of the iceberg and hopefully others will learn from his mistake.
