Private Schools Recruit... Well Duh.

I may exaggerate some! lol I tend to do that a lot. It seems to make the truth more interesting , and always gets a much more exciting response on here. I'm sure you and most of the other people I argue with are fine people and I definitely don't have a personal beef with any of you. I do however STRONGLY believe that private schools have MANY advantages over publics when it comes to HS sports and that they have far less obstacles to overcome to find success in their programs. If you don't see that you haven't been around small rural public schools very much. Your 2004 F 150 and my 2006 Ram would be the nicest vehicles in the parking lot 90% of the time! As sad as it is $$ makes the world go round and our small communities don't have much of it. GCA and other privates probably don't actively recruit like I say they do , but with the facilities they have ,good athletes , and good students with good parents come to them.... that's a huge advantage.

I'm not calling for a truce cause that would be boring, but don't take anything I say as a personal attack on you or anyone else.

I don't post very often on here, but I read and follow often. I've watched you trash GCA and bad mouth everything about GCA for many years on here. This is the best post I've ever seen you post about us or any private on coacht. The GCA poster you are referring to is a lot like 75% of GCA families, although I don't know this particular individual. I appreciate your honesty in this post. It has changed my opinion of you. And I don't expect you to stop your posts about privates, I just hope they will be more respectful of the majority of the group, not just lump every family in as a rich, spoiled family. Thanks again, I truly appreciate your comments (this time, lol).

Yea this won't be near as fun if we're all just getting along. I like to think of you and ol pujo as my nemeses! I'd never deny a private didn't have some advantages. But it's not like we've won 3 straight championships, we're trying to get one! I know these small schools don't like playing us and I completely understand. What I don't understand is the absolute hate that I see and hear at our home games. Now, I'm going to forget your last rational, intelligent and sensical post so you can get back to your stupid, idiotic and irrational ones so we can get back to the way things were! I mean that with all respect :) :) :)

Actually I have tons of respect for the parents and kids at these private schools. They do everything in their power to see that their kids excel. Thats the very reason we need a complete split. As a whole, you have many more dedicated people than any small public school out there. Thats not a bad thing, its just a different one. Its also one that we can't change.Anytime you see a successful small public school, you'll see a  highly dedicated and hard working Leader at the top. I'm sure Brewster understands the differece real well by now.
