Seeding meeting is either Wednesday or Thursday, so you have time to wait. Until then you could speculate as to what some wrestlers will be seeded, but be patient and the brackets will come.

That might take me a while and I may not do justice because I do not know much about the teams outside of Williamson County. I can say that I think the most difficult weight class will be 140 because there are a lot of good wreslters in that class. I also think that 160 will be a great 1 -2 match up between Indy and Franklin. I think that each class will have a great 1-2 match up but not sure who will make up the final four.

I think ravenwood will get the most wrestlers in the state tourney. Followed by franklin then independence. The surprise team would be antioch. They have a really nice quad and I can see them have 4 to state for now but could be up to 6.

If RW is healthy I think they could get 12 in and I think Overton will sneak in a few guys and I dont know much about Antioch but there 140 seems pretty good. I think that unfortunatley there will be a couple good wrestlers in 140 that get left out.

140 is going to be tough come this weekend, no doubt. Here are some names for you guys to think about and some that aren't in our region for comparison.

Ronquae Love (MLK)- Holds pin falls over Little (Indy) and Gray (Ravenwood).

Parker Smith (Centennial)- Holds a tech over Love (MLK), lost a dec to Gray (Ravenwood). Lost to Isbell (Clarksville)

Michael Gray (Ravenwood)- Currently ranked #6 in state. Holds wins over #2 ranked Pitts from Bradley, Smith (Centennial) and split matches with Little (Indy)

Caleb Little (Independence)- Split matches with Gray (Ravenwood) and Isbell (Clarksville). Only returning region champ in this weight (may be a factor as far as seeding).

Going to be a bunch of great matches in almost every class. I only wish that they would hold the semis and finals on Sat (for championship)and not have the semis on Friday. It makes for a long day for those guys

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
