The Tornadoes beat Humboldt twice in regular season last year. UC plays one tough schedule and that always is a advantage. UC will be hard to beat as always!

Im expecting a run to the State Tournament. They have all for starters back in Malik Stockdale,Donte Simpson, Marcus Deberry who all averaged double figures last year along with Jamie Hyde.Will Sisco will start at the center spot with Kheric Brooks,Quintrel Polk,Javonte Moffatt and Jeremy Bumpus all coming off the bench. A nine man rotation compared to a six man rotation last year will give guys a breather. Single A has gotten even tougher with Mitchell and still have Humboldt,who didnt lose anyone,South Fulton returns 4 starters, and Lake Co with Zay Coleman. Middleton and TCA will make some noise,but at Union City, guys are expecting to win the State Championship.Going to be a good season with tournament games at siegel and Poplar Bluff,but it starts tonight with a very good South Side team.

UC beat South Side 71-58. Malik Stockdale 22,Donte Simpson 20,and Marcus Deberry 18 to lead the way for Union City.South Side was led by Barford.South Side has only 1 shooter in McNeil.They dont have much outside their big 3. 1-3-1 was very effective against them.Hicks didnt have a good one and got in foul trouble in the 3rd quarter with a technical that gave him his 4th foul.A good win against a very good AA team and now we move on for 2 games Saturday against TCA and Madison.

mega while I'm not gone say its a lock yet for them they are the best team with probly the best player in 1A so we will see

Jamie Hyde is a 5'7 senior point guard, Donte Simpson is a 5'10 junior combo guard,Marcus Deberry is a 6'4 junior wing,Malik Stockdale is a 5'11 junior forward that plays in and out, they all started last year,Will Sisco is a 6'2 Sophomore center,and the bench will have Kheric Brooks a 5'9 senior,Javonte Moffatt a 5'10 junior, Quintrel Polk a 5'9 freshman, and Jeremy Bumpus a 6'2 freshman. Deberry, Stockdale,and Simpson all averaged double figures a year ago.We beat Humboldt 2 out of 3 times last year and Lake Co 2 out of 3 times by 20 plus points, but they beat us when it counted in the regional semifinals. Our junior class went 20-0 their 8th grade year to win the West Tennessee Sectionals, beating Lester and Fayette East to win the Championship.UC will be a tough out. Like I said before, its going to be hard to beat UC and Humboldt at their place for Substate and going to be hard to beat Mitchell at their place.On a neutral court,I like our coaching staff against Mitchell.
