Will the Lions be basking too much over their big win against Union City? Forget to practice hard enough for the Vikings? Will Humboldt rise to the occasion like they did against Union City? (Vikings actually won game on stats and field but not on scoreboard where it counts. Bitter lose for sure). Will Dresden be shocked with it's first lose by a motivated & fired up Viking horde? Can the beasty fierce Lions be stopped? ... My biased prognostication is: Dresden 48- Humboldt 12. Others say what?

This game could be close.  The Vikings will come to win. They have had enough moral victories.

I didn't get a chance to respond to your text that you sent back to our mutual friend Mr. Phil. I can't remember all ofit but I do know there was a BBarney reference and something about short stubby fingers. Funny. I was at a disadvantage being surrounded by a pride of lions so I couldn't respond like I wanted to so I will now. Here it is, I hope your butt hole grows together. Now.

Don't worry Swo you are safe with the Posse. That is just a hurtful thing to say. lol

Hevyrevy you won't get much conversation from the Vikings. They have a couple of posters who chime in every now and then. Not much on the T this week.

BigSwo you are correct not to many Viking fans on coacht but I'm hoping the Vikings show up & play! If, they don't it will be a long night but we were off last Friday so hopefully coaches have a good game plan and had a extra week to get players healthy! Vikings need to play discipline & turnover free in order to win & anything can happen on any given Friday night!!

Humboldt has a great history. Lots of quality athletes. What is kind of sad to me is the lack of community support (and I say this only based on the size of folk at games. Maybe I wrong though. Hope Vikings have huge amount of local support!). That 12th man can & does make a difference imho. I not too fond of fairweather fans either. When I am in the stands it's to be fanatical for our team (fan is just a shortened form of this misunderstood word: fanatic). And I do so not by downing anyone nor dissing either, but encourage, edify, be positive & enthused, at least I hope I am. It's great fun too. More folk should try it. They may like it! :)

:D Hehe. OK. I understand. No more bumps. :D last thing, I just looked at schedules, next weeks game between LC & Humboldt will decide 4th team in playoffs for 7A. Anyone's guess as to who gets it. Neck & neck. 1-3 set. Who'll be fourth seed? Hmmm

    • I think the OC is a guy the he brought from Fulton with him. I am not sure though. I have heard a lot of conflicting information. It seems like a couple of coaches that he hired have since been let go.

    • If someone needed their grades pumped up surley it would have to be for someone needing it to get to another level. If your intending on going to work right after high school it wouldn't matter. Why would someone in their right mind think if they screwed it up in high school that their ready for college. It has to be for an athlete to get them over the fence to get in and from that point the school their going to will cheat them through the rest of the way for their athletic skills just like the rest.
    • The new school will be on that road behind Home Depot next to a church. I'm wondering if this could take from Greenback or could it be the end of Greenback, they only have 200 students.
    • Yeah it will take the county kids in that area that were going to lenior city. They will move down to 4a I think
