you were takin bout the 2014 game and ND havin 7-8 D1 players on the field and yall only havin 2 D3 and 1 UTC walk-on......tell you what else the Irish staff can do besides coach and scheme; they can put a kid in pads at the next level as good or better than anyone around...if the that kid wants to do so.....nobody works the phones, roads; camps and contacts.harder than they

youve had plenty of players that could have or could b playin on Saturday; somewhere....for example; Booger assumin u were talkin bout Davis bein the UTC walk-on.....that young man was a stud LB and apparently smart too.....Coach Fant and the staff would have had coaches lined up in the hallway offerin him.....walkin on at UTC would not have been his only option; if it was.....and by no way is Booger sayin that was a bad choice; cause UTC ant no joke.....he may have just wanted play there and stay close

what bout the Jackson kid up there now.....is he getting offers....or even that big senior lineman

Hey boog, Davis you speak of is my son.  He is doing great at UTC.  218 lbs now.  Daddy messsed up and he graduated at 17.  Very easily could have had another year to play and get bigger.  He could have chose other schools, had preferred at UT as well.  He loved the Coaches at UTC and at this point could'nt have chosen a better place for him.  He of course red shirted and is on special teams this year.  Hopefully he'll work his way up the ranks.  He had the opportunity to play for Fant in the all star game and really enjoyed it.  The difference  for us, is he loved playing for his community.  There is something to say about that, in my opinion.  Friday nights, especially when those type of years come around, brings such a special atmosphere to both communities.  We would not trade that for anything.  Hopefull tonight will be a hard fought game.  I enjoyed the effort given by our boys at CAK last Friday.  Be careful in your travels.  See you at Charger stadium.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
