Memphis East may play up to 3A if not then you are correct.

Summertown and loretto are way closer to rest of region 6 than hickman and east hickman.Forrest will go east before waverly. Lots of corrections needed for these. Edited October 20, 2016 by cardfan

Yeah can tell he is not very geographically correct on the west teams. He has teams way further west going into east regions and east teams going in west regions.

I'm not upset that they are in 2A. I wouldn't mind it if Tennessee would make the playoffs fair where one Region doesn't play another Region for the first three rounds of playoffs. Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Kentucky don't do it.

It is wrong that schools who have coop agreements with other schools for football don't have to include to non football schools students in their totals. TSSAA makes privates in D1 count invisible players as part of their totals yet coop schools don't have to count all the real players available to them in totals for classification.

wasn't real sure on regions 4, 5, and 6 I knew they could interchange some but also have a theory

this would not be fair to middle and west regions because it could load them with 7 to 8 team regions but these do make the most sense geographically

I feel like they will split the east and west equally. Right now only 2a team that might move up would be Memphis East( i will be surprised if they do). That means 25 in each side.

I feel like this will be best for all teams for travel, competition, and is still pretty equally divded.

 

Only question i have is which middle team falls into the west and which one falls to the east
