The next 7 days should determine the regular season champion in district 4AA. Alcoa plays at CAK on the 20th, Catholic travels to Alcoa on the 24th, CAK plays at Alcoa on the 26th and Catholic plays at CAK on the 27th.  It's crunch time.

Certainly big district games coming up. The sad thing is the local paper will have little if any coverage. Be lucky to get a box score. KNS refuses to show any love for high school basketball. For folks like myself who can't get out to a lot of games it's hard to keep up with players, teams, and up coming games.

 

But I can assure you the KNS will have an article slamming Trump or who will be in charge of jock straps for UT football.

A lot of area teams playing some really good basketball and no one knows about it. The only basketball articles I've seen were Alcoa beating Webb in December and Coach Duncan resigning. Edited January 20, 2017 by QSouth89

Catholic is coming to Kingston on January 30th

I usually get told in the morning what game I'm covering that evening. I've got Kingston & Oliver Springs the most, so there's a chance I'll get them

Saw where The Irish slipped by Alcoa. That signature victory for Alcoa continues to elude them. They just aren't able to get that big victory it doesn't seem.
