Why would they even want to play PC what is there to gain? Pc would bring no fans so that cuts into gate revenue and they are a lower classification so there's really no incentives to playing PC if your a 5a or 6A school

So tired of hearing this no fan BS. CR has no excuse that game wouldn't even hold a high school stadium. You keep talking bout no fans PC fans travel. Just call it what it really is ,so called powerhouse team are ducking us you always talking bout gate relax!!!

It isn't about fans. If Red Boling Springs called most any school in the Midstate and wanted to play a game there is no way they'd be turned away. If they called any of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools or some of the Metro-Nashville Public Schools and wanted to play it would have been placed on the schedule. People who deny that are kidding themselves.....

 

If Pearl Cohn calls those schools asking for a game it's deemed that "they are beating up on weaker teams" by the average fan. The same is true if they played a Robertson, Dickson, or Cheatham County area school as well.

 

For this reason Pearl Cohn reached out to just about every 5A/6A school in the midstate area in the Summer, Williamson, Rutherford County areas. They reached out to the elite MNPS schools in the midstate area (Hillsboro, Overton, Cane Ridge, and Maplewood). They were rejected. That's when everyone now wants to use the "attendance" excuse.

Which school was he traveling with. I'm just curious because if I'm not mistaken Porter has strong ties to a school with an opening. Wonder if he is looking for a change of scenery.
