One good year and west tn thinks they are a powerhouse

The creator of this thread is a Maplewood fan. Maplewood in in Nashville if you didn't know. HE posed the question ... NOT West TN people. So, how in the world did you just come to the conclusion that this is what West TN people think?

All I acknowledged is the phenomenal season that the Memphis teams are having THIS season. I have yet to read in this thread where a West TN person has said that they think that West TN is a powerhouse.

dhs.... In all honesty I know we live to bust each other's chops on here and it's all in good fun. I respect what you and your team have done this year and I wish you nothing but the best come Friday. I just wouldn't bet money on Liberty.

By the way.... I am running the clock on you in the pick 'em contest!!!😉

Milan has never beaten ALCOA.

but Milan is one of the few if not the only team that has a winning record vs Maryville....1-0...beat them in the 1977 AA championship game 26-8...ironically the game was played in Alcoa....I realize 39 years is a stretch but it is what it was...hope you guys in East TN are safe from the fires....prayers are with you...

Nah, don't have any contacts that far East so no betting...I would prefer to change my pick'em to Liberty winning since we actually made it to the game...same score, that way I'll have 2 trophies

They are very impressive, they also make a few mistakes once or twice a game...hopefully we can force those mistakes and capitalize on them...

never is a strong word....0-2 sounds better....and Milan doesn't recruit...they're a "what gets off that yellow bus" kinda program...like true high school sports should be to create a level playing field....D2/pay for play and "open zoned" schools should be in one division and actual "yellow bus" public schools should be in another....

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
