Your school has only been around for what,13 or 14 years? Give it some time slick.

It really wouldn't matter...were bigger, were better...they know it and they're glad to see us move back up...Morris doesn't want Liberty to retire him like we did Counce Sr.

Like cofo puts in virtually every Liberty post...were a 4a school, only 20 kids shy of 5a, playing in 3a...

So who knows...maybe we play like a 5a squad come Friday, sure would be nice

Man you make it hard for someone to pull for our region in this one. Every coach put together at Liberty and you could not hold Counce's jock strap.

It's funny, deal with it...I can't help that you're good friends with the man

Besides, if Jr doesn't change some things soon we may retire him as well

Fact is, Sr gave liberty 2 of the worst beatings I've ever seen...so I have no problem enjoying what THIS team has accomplished against traditional west TN powers...

I don't live in the past like most people...the things I say...all pertain to players on THIS team...not 5 years ago, not 10 years ago, not 20 years ago

A handful of our seniors played and started as freshmen, so it's nice to see them progress and overcome adversity...I don't require forgiveness for admiring them or singing their praises...

Ha. cofo believes in a world where all teams need to win a trophy.....and everything is fair in his little powder puff pink world. What a sissy....man up and play some smack ya in the mouth football.

Boski, I'm impressed as well. But now we have to finish. We have to win championship games. I think these teams are up to the task, but, it takes a lot of focus on everybody's part.

I have to admit though ... I'm pleased as punch at what these teams have done. I think this is unprecedented for Memphis in high school football. I may be wrong, but I don't ever remember anything like this happening. Not like THIS. Three D1 programs and one D2.

I'm a hopin' and a prayin' for a clean sweep! Now ... THAT would be awesome!

Thanks for the 'Love' on the 'T'. We Memphians appreciate the sentiment! I've read some of your posts and I know you are a Maplewood guy. Thanks, 'cause you didn't have to create this thread to acknowledge the accomplishment. Much love from the "Bluff City".

:thumb: Good Luck! ..Bring that gold back!!

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
