SuperFan14A
Middleton and Trinity Christian will be there from West TN I wouldn't count out the following teams of having a shot: Greenfield, Peabody, Gibson County, Huntingdon, Dresden, or Gleason. If these teams played each other 10 times, I think it would be around 500. Middleton is Middleton and TCA has out performed expectations. Who knows...it's one of those years in girls basketball. tradertwo
Middleton and Trinity Christian will be there from West TN It wouldn't surprise me one bit if neither are there...the northwest region will make a strong case to send two teams this year. westtnsportsfan
Never seen so many teams so close in the area. Region 7a could have any 2 of union city, greenfield, Peabody, Gibson co, Gleason , huntingdon or Dresden come out of the tourney and I wouldn't be surprised. pioneer42
West TN is loaded in Single A. GC's two freshman played a ton last night and their offense played well. If GC's offense plays like they did against UC, we can make a run because we play well consistently on defense. Going to be interesting how this thing turns out. You can flip a coin. ReitzFan
Wtih the way TCA laid waste to Riverside last night, you had better not count out the Lady Lions. They have defeated Middleton and Chester County two times each and have defeated Gibson County (on the road) and Westview. pioneer42
Trinity and GC's game this year was a slug fest. GC missed a layup at the end of regulation to win it and lost in OT. TCA is a good team and could make noise as well. I hadn't forgot about Trinity. We just have the mountain of a region to get out of before we worry about Trinity. If GC's offense plays like they did against UC, we can make a run because we play well consistently on defense. Going to be interesting how this thing turns out. You can flip a coin. The west may have more good teams who could conceivably beat one of the others on a given night, but the top three teams are east of the river this season. On a good night TCA probably could stay within a winnable range of Clarkrange, Pickett Co. or South Greene...maybe two or three 14A teams too (haven't seen them play). One of the three favorites who will win state this year will probably have to beat the other two not from the west..."we" enjoyed having the best three or four teams for a few years, now the tables have turned.
