My two cents on Humboldt...

 

This may be the best ALL AROUND team that I've seen at Humboldt in years. The team plays well together and they make each other better by being unselfish. Mitchell versus Humboldt for a state championship would be a classic this year...

Good point and I agree with you. I know Mitchell does things the right way. My point was that this happens a lot in Memphis.

One of the reasons imo is the city schools have so many coaching opportunities that guys get jobs all the time that aren't very good at coaching, verses the rural schools who are limited year in and out so the coach has to essentially make due with what he has. I'm not saying that rural coaches are better than city coaches, but you can only do so much with limited players so if a coach is in a small population area he has to be doing something right. The other reason kids jump around in the area is egos and parents thinking they are the next best thing lol.
