Grace Christian is playing for the 3 or 4 seed tomorrow, I don't see them going for in region play, Oneida will have to travel to Meigs or Tellico, it will be hard for them to live there with a win, Meigs will be hosting Hampton and Tellico to SG.

I've not felt confident in making a prediction for region two as last year we heard Meigs all year and wound up with Midway and Harriman, but yes, Telico Plains and Meigs sound like the most likely contenders unless there is an upset from district 4.

I saw Meigs once, around Thanksgiving. Was not particularly impressed. Of course they were playing Sullivan North on a Saturday morning after staying in a hotel for a night or two and were probably just going through the motions.

I've not seen any district 4 teams play this year, but bast on scores Rockwood has beat most of the district 4 teams and they were middle of the pack in district 3, but anything can happen in Basketball.

I went to the South Green vs Hampton game and Hampton did pretty good for a half but SG pulled away in the second half, Northview play Meigs before the season started and Meigs won by around 15, but I would say they have got better sense than, but I still think Hampton is better then Northview and I think that week district will hurt them.

If you can play solid man to man defense you have a shot at NV...if not they will kill you from 3. they have about 7 girls who can shoot the three very well! I think Unaka could pull the upset but i wouldnt put much money on it, especially with it being at NV.

Those shots do always seem to fall easier at home. If there a betting man, I would be putting my money on Northview. But Coach Chambers has taken a 4th place district finishing team to sub-state before. And if ever there was a year to do it again, it would be this one.

Northview academy has an enrollment of 743. He would put his money on them because they are that much larger than the other teams in 1a alone since it was a new school opening. They will be AA next year and already larger than pigeon forge high school.

I am well aware that Northview has darn near 800 students, but I was talking about Unaka's Coach Chambers. I can only assume nomo was as well since he specifically said "he."

South Greene came away with the district championship last night after one of the wildest games I have seen all year. Very poor and inconsistent officiating that saw both teams in the bonus five minutes into the 1st quarter. That would wind up hurting Hampton more than South Greene as the Rebels was more spread out. I was worried in the beginning with Cutshaw out, with an injury, that we wouldn't have the depth to cover foul trouble. I hope that Hampton's Tuelle isnt hurt at bad as it seemed. My heart went out to her and I know it worried her teammates.
