2017 Class A State Tournament

I know I will get slammed for saying this ,but that was the most un-athletic boring basketball, I have ever watched, period.

I wasn't able to watch it but was following stats and saw it was 11-12 at halftime. That's just crazy.

Congrats to Hampton on making the final four. I knew you'd make Clarkrange play for it. Question: why did Garland come out of the game? I was only able to follow stats on tssaa, but I don't remember her having trouble. That seemed to be when the momentum hit Clarkrange.

Wondered that myself. Her sub did not do a good job of denying Meadows in the post. That coupled with the Clarkrange press in the 4th was the difference.

That's exactly when Clarkrange pulled away, it was back and forth until then, the big post from Hampton was doing a good job defending meadows, at the start of the 3rd when Hamptons big was on the bench, it was too easy for Meadows and she got going after that.

The big girl at Clarkrange will keep the game respectable for 3 quarters. I have South Green by 12-15.

Yeah, that's a big question mark for me. I was hoping pujo or anyone from Hampton could give some info on that one. We (SG) have played them four times and I'd much rather go up against #25 than #40. Heck they'd put em both on Lamb at times, I just don't understand why they didn't use both or at the very least leave Garland #40 in. They have a great team.

Apparently.....everyone conceded South Greene would win since no one actually has said they did, at least not on here.  What was the score of the game last night against Summertown.  Only post was someone said Summertown was going to be very good in the future.

South should become state champions again today. They just execute so well for four quarters and really have no weak spots in their lineup.

Clarkrange has a chance but they are going to have to play flawless basketball to win. South Greene is very disciplined and very good.

Definitely. She'll have to score above 30 and get a ton of help from those guards. I don't know that they have the team around her to win a state title. Being from the UC, I hope they bring it home, but as you stated, it'll take the perfect effort. Great thing is, it only takes one game. So, any team always has a shot.
