PLEASE HELP OUR CHILDREN

I've been to several games in the last few weeks and have witnessed a sad thing in each. So much disrespect for our flag! The last game I went to one of the team's disrespect was awful! The entire team turned away from the flag and the cheerleaders did the same laughing at the boys. It's so sad to see our country headed in such a direction. PLEASE talk to our children and help them understand the problem with this.

How in the world did the coaches and administrators allow to happen . I was the coach I would send a quick message I don't care what game it was and what the game meant .?my team would forfeit if it was the whole team . . One player go to the locker room and don't come out till game is over or you will never play another game for me . Yes parents need to talk to children but coaches and administrators have to hold kids more accountable for their actions .

United States has been the best Country to live in for a long time. But when you are to salute the Flag and not be able to say a prayer, I,ve Got a problem with that.God comes way before Country. Christian values is the main thing thats separated us from the rest of the world. Our moral standards needs a good shot in the arm. Believe it or not ,there is  right and wrong.

You don't like it here, head on out...Transportation can and will be paid for

Unthankful for it but will take advantage of it

Agree Pujo

We have been blessed but if we turn our backs, the blessings may not be there so long.We as a Country have a LOT to be thankful for.

I have know problem with it

Do you understand the reason that you can even say that in public??? Generations of true Americans have left their homes, families, and career's in order to fight and perhaps die to ensure your right to form and speak your own opinion. Unless you're an immigrant yourself, you more than likely have family of your own that made that sacrifice. I don't personally care for the direction that our country seems to be headed, but it's still the best place to live, work, and raise your children on the face of the planet, and a little respect for the symbol of our freedom would DANG sure be required if I were those kids coach...bet on that.

I agree totally! I agree that coaches and administrators should have done something but I'll say what I have said for years, it starts at home with the parents and their upbringing or the lack thereof. If one of those players belonged to me, the coach would be the least of his worries. I would go to the court and escort him out myself but I promise you mine would never do anything like that !

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
