1. The numbers don't take into account the strength of out of state schools.

 

2. That was last updated before the state tournament began. Humboldt has loss since then.

 

3. Even if you insist on using those numbers Humboldt is still rated lower than Brentwood Academy, Knoxville Catholic, and Oak Ridge. So at best they are the top rated single A school. Not best overall.

 

4. Finally, they are rated on the Coach T site. See CoachT for you the Vikings #1 trophy. Because you are not going to get it from anyone else.

Rankings are just for fans interests. Bottom line is which team is best overall. East hands down best team in state BA #2 Humboldt may not be in top ten but surely not in the same conversation with East, BA, Oak Ridge

They wouldn't be ranked 1 even with the best record because they lost at state and anyone who would be voting would know it. They might be top 25. Maybe. At best the 4th best Class A team. And that's no disrespect to the Vikings. I think they were a really good team.

Hamilton Heights. I know they aren't a sanctioned TSSAA School but they are really good. They beat BA and East this season.
