Join four time WCWA and NWCA National Champions King University Women's Wrestling coaches and wrestlers at the 4th annual Tornado Women’s Wrestling Camp. This camp will improve your takedowns & attacks on your feet. We will focus on high percentage leg attacks, set ups, and finishes. Campers will also learn high level takedown defense and front headlocks. We will also teach throws, as well as Freestyle techniques. 4x WCWA (Women's College Wrestling Association) All-Americans and National Champions Julia Salata and Forrest Miolinari headline the list of clinicians and counselors for this years camp.

Rates
Individual Resident: $300 (Deposit due June 15th) Includes dorm room, insurance, meal plan, t-shirt, and clinician fee (must be 12 years of age or older)
Individual Commuter: $225 (Deposit due June 15th) Includes insurance, t-shirt, and clinician fee (meal plan can be purchased for commuters for $60)

Cash and checks only, cash preferred. Checks must be made out to Tornado Wrestling Camps

Registration It's not too late to register!!
Pre-registration: All campers must pre-register by June 15, 2017 by sending in a registration form, and deposit of $100.
Final Registration: Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 4pm in the Student Center Complex lobby. All remaining cost must be paid by the start of camp. An insurance form must also be filled out by a parent/guardian.

Coaches and Parents we are still accepting registrations for the Tornado Women's Wrestling Camp!

 

If you have a girl(s) on your team please let them know of this camp! This is a great opportunity for them to learn from the top women's college program in the nation. Counselors and Clinicians to include 4x WCWA All-American, 2x WCWA National Champion, Senior Pan Am Champion Julia Salata (also assistant coach for King University), 3x WCWA All-American Hanna Grisewood, and 4x WCWA All-American, 2016 WCWA National Champion, 5th 2017 Senior Pan American Championships Forrest Molinari.

Head Coach Jason Moorman and Associate Head Coach Travis Mercado will also be there to show techniques and skills that have helped propel King University Women's Wrestling to the top of not only the collegiate level but also the senior level as well.

We are still accepting registrations for our women's camp in two weeks. Get those registrations in!

 

We just got word that we may have some girls from Canada attending. This is a fantastic opportunity for your daughters to get a chance to wrestle some international girls.

 

If you haven't registered yet please contact Travis Mercado at tjmercado@king.edu to add your daughter to the registration list.

We are at 40+ girls for our camp in 1.5 weeks!

 

Girls from Ca, IN, OH, FL, GA, VA, TN, MD, and girls from Canada are coming.

 

We are still taking registrations. Coaches and parents do not miss this opportunity for your female athletes and daughters to get a chance to get instructions from the top college womens program's coaches and athletes.

We have 55 girls registered for our camp this coming week. We have added two more counselors and clinicians. Samantha Klingel a 2016 WCWA national champion and 2016 graduate from King and current WCAP athlete and Daisy Santos a RS Senior at King with 3 WCWA All-American honors to her name.

    • If someone needed their grades pumped up surley it would have to be for someone needing it to get to another level. If your intending on going to work right after high school it wouldn't matter. Why would someone in their right mind think if they screwed it up in high school that their ready for college. It has to be for an athlete to get them over the fence to get in and from that point the school their going to will cheat them through the rest of the way for their athletic skills just like the rest.
    • The new school will be on that road behind Home Depot next to a church. I'm wondering if this could take from Greenback or could it be the end of Greenback, they only have 200 students.
    • Yeah it will take the county kids in that area that were going to lenior city. They will move down to 4a I think
