Can a high school Junior athlete reclassify back a year in a public school.If so what are the steps.

EXPLANATION:

Once you start 9th grade you have 8 consecutive semesters of eligibility.

Additionally, if you repeat 7th or 8th grade and participates in athletics in their repeating year, they are ineligible in 9th grade and would only have 6 consecutive semesters beginning in 10th grade.

So you can call it whatever you want, but the clock continues ticking.  Repeating 10th grade means they cannot play their senior year.
