I was unable to find the Fairview/Nashville Christian score last week. If anyone has it or if you see something incorrect please let me know and I will make corrections.

Great to have this thread back again. I always like logging in and being able to keep up with this. Thanks for your efforts to keep it all together like this.

Looking forward to driving over to Fairview tonight to see the Lady Lions and Lions. First games I have been been able to make so far.

How are the teams looking? I was expecting Creek Wood to be the best in the girls side, but the score with Stewart County looks like that may not be the case.

Waverly is starting 3 freshmen along with 2 seniors. They lost 2 players off last years team, one, a senior who tore her ACL and a junior, who decided to be homeschooled and wasn't allowed to play because the TSSAA didn't recognize her program. The 2 senior starters didn't play much last year and, of course, the 3 freshmen were playing middle school basketball. Going to be a long, rebuilding year for the TIgerettes. Lost to Houston County 19-60 on Monday 12/4, lost to Hickman County 21-36 on Tuesday 12/5 and lost to Lewis County 34-51 on Friday 12/8

East HIckman and Stewart Co. both look pretty good early.  Lewis and Creekwood could both get their names up there as well.  Should be interesting to watch this play out over the next 2-3 months.

So what does everybody think now that we are almost half way through the district schedule? Creek Wood looks to be tough.  They dropped one to a Stewart County team but it was played at SC.  I look for that one to be close the second time around.  Stewart Co. looks to be playing very well right now but still have two huge games with East and one with Creek Wood left.  East looks to be able to compete with these previous two I've mentioned but I do not think they have enough to contend at the end of the day.  Everyone else in the district I believe has to take a back seat to the top three but I could be wrong.  We will see how these next three weeks play out.

    • I think the OC is a guy the he brought from Fulton with him. I am not sure though. I have heard a lot of conflicting information. It seems like a couple of coaches that he hired have since been let go.

    • If someone needed their grades pumped up surley it would have to be for someone needing it to get to another level. If your intending on going to work right after high school it wouldn't matter. Why would someone in their right mind think if they screwed it up in high school that their ready for college. It has to be for an athlete to get them over the fence to get in and from that point the school their going to will cheat them through the rest of the way for their athletic skills just like the rest.
    • The new school will be on that road behind Home Depot next to a church. I'm wondering if this could take from Greenback or could it be the end of Greenback, they only have 200 students.
    • Yeah it will take the county kids in that area that were going to lenior city. They will move down to 4a I think
