Word is the kids have not practiced either days this week. If Jake transferred to, say, Brentwood Academy, wouldn't he have to sit a year? In which case, they are in a position of either having to make up with Webb, transfer in state and sit a year, or move out of state, right?

I've seen Donnie Webb from his first coaching days at Cheatham County High School. I've been on a staff with him as an assistant and also when he was the HC. These allegations by a parent who is all about recruiting  and nothing about the good of the team are completely false.

Those two players are quitters and if the OSU coach told them not to practice or play...he is way out of line. Why do you quit on your team your senior season? Ask yourself that question!

What those players did is wrong and just shows you the head up my a-- recruiting that gets into kids and parents heads.

My son would play for Donnie Webb any day of the week and twice on Sunday!!

In the article, Dad Wray basically accuses Webb of covering up concussions. Were this to be true (and I suspect it isn't, this isn't 1976), it would be not only a fireable offense, it would put WCS under threat of litigation.

I guess what I am saying is... you don't really reconcile from an accusation like that.

I see your point but what does their father stand to gain from those accusations?

All Wilco Schools have a  certified trainer at each football practice and game....So I'm calling BS on the concussion accusations cause I know their trainer and she would not let that happen. Total BS
