Lawrence Co, Summertown and Loretto

Can someone give me a good reason why Lawrence Co. Is not playing Summertown and Loretto this year?

I would love to hear the answer as well. Those games are always highly competitive and provides a great high school game atmosphere. I love seeing the student sections going back and forth...

To quote an administrator at a Jr High in Lawrenceburg "It makes no sense for LCHS to play a Class A school-they treat it like the super bowl and there is nothing to gain from it"

They don't need the money that the two games would bring in? They don't want good close games played in tough environments? They don't want games close to home to save money on travel? They are playing Lewis Co what since does that make, passing right by Summertown. They are playing a team from Florence Al. passing right by Loretto what since does that make. To me it makes no since not to play.

If LCHS wins those games, they were supposed to... AAA vs A.... if LCHS loses, it looks really bad....Guess they don't want to risk losing to smaller rival schools...

2 good reasons 1 Loretto wins this year 2 Summertown wins this year

So what if you lose both schools have good programs. Both schools send teams deep in the tournament year after year. I saw where Summertown is playing Franklin Co. driving 2 hours to play a AAA team when they could drive 20 mins to Lawrenceburg.

ding - ding - ding - ding....we have a winner! Doesn't look like the LCHS administration is very confident. They'll probably use the ole " we don't need them, they need us " excuse.

Summertown went to Gibson County tonight for a scrimmage. That's 2 hours and 20 minutes away..#getbeatgetbetter #theywon

Been thru all this before w lchs / good girls on all 3 teams / can’t control what administrators do / let’s play games we’re scheduled to play to best of our ability and not worry about who we’re not playing

I totally agree no logical reason not to play / maybe when they come calling us we say Nyet
