Now for the other stuff.   The kid that threw the elbows to the nuts should have been tossed from the game or at least yanked out by his head coach.  I understand emotions but there is no place for that mess.  I know he's just a kid but you have to be held accountable. The thing is this from my perception and it may hurt or ruffle some folks but needs to be said.  When you play Coalfield, this seems to be a common occurrence. Not saying it's being coached but it is being allowed.

There were a couple other players that could have easily been tossed or at least flagged.  I liked the way the white hat called both teams together when the incident happened.

It's always best to be led by emotion than controlled by them.

I know I'm late commenting on this game and it's been over a few days but I just watched the game and thought I would comment.  Don't anyone take what I've said and make it out to be more than it is.  Just my thoughts and my perception.  To each his own.

I don't think its likely, but is Ryan going to appeal the ejection and suspension due to the groin shot? And that was the lamest ejection for a "punch" I've ever seen. GB player "punched" (more of a good shove) in the shoulder pad. I know a punch is a punch no matter where it hits, but that one was very borderline.

From what I seen on the television #52 was a bit mouthy. Of course when you have a head coach that talks smack to the players like Ryan does then they feed off that.

I would be mouthy too if someone did that to me. What would be your first reaction to someone that is squeezing you somewhere you don’t want to be squeezed? I mean you can’t just “walk away”. And if you think Coach Ryan yells at other players, you are delusional. He rarely yells at his own players let alone players from the other team. You have no clue what you’re talking about. Sorry but this game is long gone for a reason. See ya next year. Even though CF might not want to see us.

You digging up bones OnB, he is a good ballplayer and he would be sorely missed but I don't think it will happen.  Somebody please fill me in if otherwise.  I'm afraid his presence should make no difference though against the Cherokees in their quest to becoming a Dynasty.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
