South Pittsburg vs Whitwell (Grider against this Boldin man again)

I got the Pirates by 14 tomorrow night. I think both teams will play extremely hard. I think it will be a physical game. Cade and the boys need some big splash plays. We haven’t had many of those this year. A big key to me is can the qb for SP complete a few passes to keep teams honest? Also, whoever wins will have to play almost perfect to pull the upset the next week. Go Pirates

The winner of this game will see one of two things.  If it's Coalfield they will see a QB and passing attack unlike any they have ever played against in their careers... Or if it's Greenback they will see BY FAR the best RB in 1A and possibly 2A.  Either way.. the winner of this one has a serious task ahead trying to compete and give themselves a chance in the semifinals.

One thing is for certain,and that is you never know how 14-18 year old boys, or should I say young men,how there thinking will be from day to day. Just hope for SP's sake none are having GF problems this week.

Many felt like Malone didn't buy in and was lazy, knew he was only going to be here a short time period. He wasn't good for the program. Helton was a nut case. The guy never punted, NEVER! Old Pirate says 1st congrats on a fine season thus far! But once the high is passed the coaching staff will again come under scrutiny. Few things are more trustworthy than history. Point here is all familiar with the programs strongly felt the Tigers were going to hit a rare high in success with the current talent. Enjoy the short ride, it will be over in a blink.

LOPAO....................Look for the jumbo single wing to show tomorrow with #70 moving to assist the Oline in nocking holes. Too late fer you fellers to attempt scouting practice and prepare.

Seriously.all joking aside,this team would have been fun to watch in the single wing. Good line and Tipton or Kelly at TB and the other at WB and big Raulston at FB. Either QB right now could run the BB position.  Also Kennemore at the TB or WB or BB position. Boy.I miss those days.  As you can tell,I'm old school..
