ok- WHAT A GAME

CA had the skill players to match up with Waverly and they physically controlled the trenches. Waverly still got 34, many on 1st play from scrimmage type plays, cos they are that good also.

CA almost blew it near the end of the 1st half. They scored too fast and Wavelry of course scored in 1 play and had all the momentum at halftime. CA had absolutely controlled the game and only had a 6 point lead.

Those 2 hour bus rides will git you and I have seen Forrest on the receiving end of a whoopin after a long travel distance.

Both teams were outstanding. Waverly is a force to be reckoned with and should be proud of their year. And what a turnout on that side. Wow!!!!

I will say that my opinion of CA has changed for the better over time. I dont see them as an elitist private school. If there could be such a thing, they are almost a blue collar private. Their cheer kids i think work with a parent. Everything is done well but I know there is a lot of parent time donated to making things run right. Youth and middle school football has been up and down. I wish them well in the future. I think there are good people there.

Again, hats off to both teams. I hope #11 is ok. He is a great friggin athlete and so fun to watch.

CA has what it takes to win Gold. If you can't admit that by now you are delusional.

I hate that he got injured on a gimmick play.   That game would of definitely been different if that play hadn't of happened.   Not saying Waverly would of won, but they were totally one dimensional once he went out and became very easy to defend with the wild cat package.

The gimmick play hurt him, but the non-called roughing the passer knocked him out of the game. But I do agree that play should of never been tried. I was saying that in the stands as it was being performed.

The last play he was way outside the pocket if I recall, and becomes a runner, and roughing the passer becomes much more difficult to call.  It wasn't even roughing the passer, in my opinion.  he got hit as he was releasing the ball.

Shameful a Trenton fan wanting UC to lose to a non region 7 team.

You guys would do the same.  Some of the remarks you guys made about our 2015 team was not called for.  Get over it.  We respect your program.  And if you guys win it all, good for you and the region.  Be safe and injury free

If I could ever get a picture to load on the message board, I think you would agree from the 2 I have it was not roughing.  Someday, I will figure it out again.

I hate that he got hurt and had to leave the game, but Im not convinced the outcome would have been any different.

    • Yeah, you might be right. We will see what happens. Should be interesting.
    • None taken ever. I just gotta believe that AC started the fire on this. Small towns talk clinton is a small town. They may have not been the official one to put ink to paper but I am sure they are the ones moving the pieces here.
    • No offense intended,  but I will take the word of an actual administrator in that system on that question.
    • My guess is, this has absolutely nothing to do with athletics. I could be completely wrong. Just going to let this play out over the next few days/weeks before throwing accusations around. Funny how when OR benefits from “transfers” it is because of the incredible school system and never for athletics because most people can’t afford the “tuition”! Going to be interesting to say the least.    And if AC is turning anybody in, shame on them. They have benefited and work the system more than most over the years.
    • I think if either were their own school system then it wouldn't have happened. Of course a lot will make sense if they student who got their grades changed was an athlete
