Catholic vs Oak Ridge: A Rivalry is Born

For the first time in these two schools' history, they  will clash on the gridiron. Catholic is loaded with size, speed and offensive fire power. The Wildcats rely on a good old fashion swarm to the ball defense. The Cats score on big plays from the offense, defense and special teams.

Certainly, Catholic will be a heavy favorite but the Cats have an impressive home playoff record. Who wins and advances and who rolls out the basketballs?

A rivalry is born?????  I hope not!  TSSAA needs to grow a pair and put them in the private school division where they belong!  BA kicked them around and they want none of that, so TSSAA allowed them to stay in the public division.  What a joke. But while they are in the wrong place, let's give them a rude Blankenship welcome and surprise them on the field!

Sorry...this one won't even be close. Nice year by the Wildcats, though, high-lighted by upset of Fulton in the final game of the regular season.

You may be right but I'll disagree with one thing you said....no shocker in beating Fulton. Fulton was outplayed, outcoached, outfanned (new word but we had many more fans is the point), and outclassed.  The only thing Fulton won was the trash talking game...and what good did that do them?

I’m gonna take Catholic in this one. I believe Catholics tough schedule has set them up to win it all. I might get jumped on Hot saying this but I’m not sure if OR has played a tough schedule like Catholic has

OR has played a very tough schedule but since Catholic has had to search hard (even out of state) for opponents, I would agree that Catholic has played a tougher schedule.  OR may be outclassed in this game with respect to personnel, but I'll bet they come ready to play.
