Was there and it says Calaen Thompson, Isaiah Goscowitz, Vaughn Coleman, and Jordan Graham. Besides Graham don't know who else plays football. But I do know the Coleman kid is a freshman. Your 4x200 barely I mean barely missed out of state by .03 of a second. Graham started that one and the anchor was kid name Stacey Wright. I see his mother at all the track meets. I know he's a football player too. We'll be cheering the Wildcats and other East Tennessee teams on. HVA girls will battle force overall and boys have a couple of top contenders. Good luck.

Now, Wofford has offered Jeremy Mitchell a scholarship. According to an article I read but can't figure out how to post on CoachT.com, everybody who has come to watch Oak Ridge in the spring has offered Jeremy except for Tennessee. Who knows maybe if Jeremy has a killer season he could get some big school offers. Right now he is being looked at as a safety in college but will play all over for the Wildcats. He says he loves to [lay DE and blitz freely.. I think I will go try and figure out how to share the article here again.

Nice to hear about the track Cats. We always have really good speed on the track team. You sure one of those guys wasn't Tony Miller with the long hair? He ran track last year on the 4x100 relay team. He played for Robertsville football in MS, but didn't play for OR in football. I wished he had of, he is a heck of an athlete.

Thursday is the Cardinal and Gray scrimmage. If you go could you please comment on the following areas...

1. Who were the QBs?

2. How did the OL/DL look?

3. How did the kickers and punters look?

4. Overall skill talent? Fulton will be loaded with skill players. West probably will be too. Catholic played Morristown West in a spring scrimmage and beat them something like 8 tds to 0 tds. They must have just reloaded. Right now, I am not worrying about Kingsport DB or Farragut since they are 6A. I will get excited for them when we play them.

One of the runners is Goskowicz (Isaiah ) He may have been the second leg with the long hair and legs. I saw all the names somewhere but forgot where..

Cool. Isaiah has good bloodlines. He comes from the Crowley family in OR. Been some good Crowley's through the years @ OR. One that comes to mind is Shawn. Probably the hardest hitter I've ever seen LB 4 LB @ OR.

Coach Gaddis said in an article that Jeremy Mitchell and Shaun are the biggest hitters in his time at Oak Ridge.

Yeah, I can see that. Crowley weighed like 160 soaking wet, but he packed a he*& of a whallop @ the Safety position. He was a terror on kickoffs, too. I would have to put Summers up there as well. He would knock your block off.

    • Why would the tax payers be responsible for paying for only a coach? In recent years with all the theft from various programs in schools from different programs with booster clubs (not just sports) the State of TN has made alot of rules surrounding booster clubs and how they handle money.  I have two documents to review, 1 is 40 pages from the state comptroller and the other is 37 pages from my district, so I can consider starting a booster club for my middle school program. It has been too much trouble in the past for the other coaches.  There is no way there needs to be an adult in the school building for 7 hours a day with no responsibilities except coaching.
    • The only thing that was said at half time of the 45-0 game was Coach Story, he said: "I know y'all have been out there a lot, but kick-off team, y'all need to get down there faster!" Then he and the other coaches proceeded to go into the coaches office and we all went nuts!  It was the only time I can ever remember coaches not saying anything at half time. Definitely a great memory!!!
