Who is Jacob Andrews and where has Beech been hiding him?? Just kidding I saw him a few times last year as a back up. He has seriously improved. Total domination today. 2 dominating wins over 2 top 5 guys. Truly impressive

Thanks to all involved. The 2017 Beech Invite ran very well and there was some great competition. 

I agree Andrews has made huge strides in his improvement.

Jacob has always been a really really good wrestler.  He placed at NHSCA in MS which is very impressive.  Last year he was behind Noah and Palmer so he couldn’t crack the lineup but what kid would have.   Last week at Cleveland Duals he took Devaney the AAA #1 to sv.  Now that he is going to be Beech’s 113 he should be ranked.  Track shows him being 21-2 on the year with his 2 loses being the SV loses being to Devaney and getting majored by McCallies super stud Christian Morris.  I was hoping we were going to see him vs Jackson Bradford of Cleveland yesterday.  I think that will be a good match.

Very true. Stuck behind 2 of the best in the state. Now he has his chance  to shine. He should 100% be ranked at 113. There’s no doubt he’s top 5 in the state. And he makes the lightweight part of that lineup even more deadly.

Rest and healing... Tends to be about a month from now (mid January) using these stronger matches as a measuring stick for remaining month or two and optimizing peak performance....

That said, blue raiders will be very difficult to beat from now to February, unless The Bear Nation, WC or The Hill has something going on we know nothing about?!?!?
