Your tainted obsession with Grace is comical. Grace hasn’t had any issues with the 8th grade rule. We had a kid repeating the 8th grade that ran in 1 HS track meet as an 8th grader. No penalties were incurred, but nice attempted jab. You should’ve referenced the same kid that transferred to Catholic  as a Freshman and cost them a football forfeit  because he played as an ineligible player. But, had you made that reference (which was more relevant to the subject) you wouldn’t have been able to make your butt hurt comment toward Grace. Get over your obsession with spreading fake news about GCA. You did it during the coaching search too.

*the kid that was repeating the 8th grade at GCA transferred to GCA after completing 8th grade at a public school.

Obsession?  Nope.  Just an example of the fact that the rule is enforced.

No penalties?  So, a fine is not a "penalty"?

You are attempting to revise history.

I'm confused about who's butt hurt. :popcorneater:

The guy has such a holier than thou and arrogance complex that he didn't understand that I wasn't putting down GCA in any shape, form, or fashion in my post.  What I posted was factual.  The kid was an 8th grader at another school, transfered to GCA and repeated the 8th grade.  GCA got caught up in somebody's lack of due diligence, be it at GCA or elsewhere.  It really doesn't matter who or where. The rule is pretty clear, yet he somehow participated in varsity sports, which is a no no.

My point wasn't that GCA had committed some dastardly deed.  It was that GCA could attest that the rule, is in fact, in place and punishable.

And a fine is a penalty, no matter what he may think.

But a holier than thou and arrogant attitude sometimes won't let one think reasonably and rationally and comprehend what they are reading.  People with preconceived notions are going to believe what they want to believe.

And If anybody really thinks I am "obsessed" with GCA, or any other high school program, then they don't know me very well.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
