Whoever lands the Ooltewah job better be someone who can walk in and change the culture. 5-6 is ridiculous with the talent on that team. Ooltewah has a much deeper problem than coaching. It is generally the consensus view that Coach Mac was a good one. Talent + Quality Coaching does not equal 5-6. Therefore, new coach has to plan to change the culture. It is more than X's and O's. Not to mention the fact that there were 2 10-win teams in their Region (Maryville 14-1 & Bradley Central 10-3).

I UNDERSTAND YOUR OPINION SIR AND WHEN THE INJURY BUG ROLLED IN ALL BETS WERE OFF. GO BACK AND LOOK WE WERE IN ERR GAME INCLUDING BRADLEY AND MARIVUL AND GUYS WERE ALREADY INJURED AND SAT OUT GAMES TRYING TO COME BACK ONLY TO BE REINJURED AGAIN.. AND IF YOU THOUGHT QUINN WAS DA TRUTH WE HAD ANOTHER ATHLETE THAT DIDNT EVEN MAKE IT TO THE REGULAR SEASON BECAUSE OF INJURY. OUR O LINE WAS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE REGION UNTIL WE LOST 4 OF THEM. AND AS FAR AS THE CULTURE CHANGING WE HAVE A GREAT COACHING STAFF AND GOOD KIDS AND PLAYOFF BOUND ERR YEAR AND IF YOURE REALLY HONEST WITH YOURSELVES AND TEND TO YOUR OWN GLASS HOUSES YOU WILL FIND SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE.

Special teams coordinator Scott Chandler promoted.  Hoo dat?

That shows that everyone credible turned them down, or they're waving the white flag after playing football for a season in the Big Boy League and realizing they can't compete.
