OK, early but should generate conversation. My Picks:

Mt Juliet

Hendersonville

Lebanon

Wilson Central

Station Camp

Rossview

What do 'Yall think?

Its definitely a top 3 heavy league.

Id say Mt Juliet will be picked to win and will have Athletes everywhere.

Look for Lebanon to be very good.  They were way improved last year and they return most of their starters.

Hendersonville will have great Senior leadership.  They have a large Senior class.  Return around 18 starters.  They should be very good up front on the offensive line.  Will have huge offensive production to replace with losing Hughes, Coker and Dalton but I think they are up for the task.  Will have a very good backfield and scoring points shouldn't be a problem.

Wilson Central is the wild card.  Im sure they will be better

Station Camp will continue to rebuild.

Rossview....could be a tough season with the loss of so many key players and the transfer of Orr

I'm gonna say off the top of my head based on what they had and what I think they lost though I'm not certain.

Mt. Juliet - Lots of depth and returning some major talent that should tote the ball plenty.

Lebanon - They got going on the right track last year and return most of the team and it seems like the community is starting to buy into this as well.

Hendersonville - New coach and didn't they lost starters at the key skill positions?

Rossview - The only team in this region that I didn't get to see last year so hard for me to say but I think they should finish over the other teams. Didn't they lose a star RB?

Wilson Central - I was very unimpressed with them last year and it sounded like they lost some talent.

Station Camp - From what everybody is saying the new zones in Sumner Co. will keep them at the bottom as the talent is now at other schools.

Only thing about Station Camp is that while zones were redrawn, that area is growing very quickly.  Probably too quickly.  There is no telling what kind of kids move into that area over a Summer.

    • This late in the year, you’d have to think they’d go with an Asst. on staff, right? I’m pretty new to the area so still learning how folks do things around here…if Woods stays there to teach, it could be hard on a new guy/staff coming in…
    • Well, your Big Western Hunt better turn up some Zebras to come graze on the Stones to make the jungle gametime ready again and make sure the plumber bros. still will come service the facilities at the Mecca. I hope your weekend is Fowl. Tell Rip hello from the Five Oh. Maybe the Gravedigger will catch a ride with Alphaniner on a flyover soon to BNA.
    • It’s not hearsay, just patently false. As one of those young coaches he apparently “ran off”, coach never once ridiculed or degraded anyone. Sure he challenged kids and coached them very hard,  but we have different definitions of you call that degrading. Coach Hammontree changed my life when he gave me the chance to work for him. I learned more about being a man and caring for the people around me in 4 years working for him than I did in 20 years of my life. No one sacrificed more than he did. I left Heritage because I felt there would never be the support necessary to help the program succeed. I’m tired of hearing people drag others down especially those they truly don’t know. Coach has moved on and a new coach is there. Just let the man live and root for the team.
    • Waiting on the Great One.   White Horse and Rip have a big weekend in the woods, and the Sheriff is working the overtime here.      Turkey season awaits…..Big Gobblers everywhere.
    • He won first at maryville so he did something right
