Fort Morgan High School gymnasts Kacie Bohm and Lindsey Henderson both earned multiple CARA state medals last weekend while competing for coach Rick Kaiser`s Country Gymnastics team based in Sterling.

The meet took place Friday at Cherry Creek High School.

Facing top Optional Level four competition, Henderson took second on balance beam with an 8.8 score and fourth among all vault qualifiers (8.75).

Meanwhile, Bohm vaulted to third place (8.8) and eventually earned a No. 6 all-around state finish (33.35).

Both were key members of a Fort Morgan Mustang team that captured its second consecutive 4A No. 4 state finish in 2010. They`ll be juniors this fall and leaders on a team which must move on without four-time state qualifier Lexi Shaffer.
