HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SOCCER REGIONAL SEMIFINALS

All games at 7 p.m. today

Region 1-5A

Port Orange Spruce Creek (12-4-4) at Fletcher (17-3): Spruce Creek bounced Fletcher 1-0 in this round last season, but the Senators have home field advantage for the rematch. Sophomore Melissa Carpenter continues to be one of Fletcher's top scoring threats, and seniors Danielle Hancock (Florida Southern) and Marlee Harris (JU) provide experienced leadership.

Region 1-4A

Orange Park (15-11-1) at Fleming Island (17-1-1): Orange Park has yet to score a goal against the Golden Eagles this season, losing 3-0 and 6-0 in their previous meetings. Fleming Island seniors Amanda Lodge (19 goals), Kimmy Tierney and Gianna Conte aim to ensure Orange Park's best playoff showing since 2000 ends here. Leading scorer Hannah Bunn (37 goals) keys the Raiders' hopes of an upset.

Region 1-3A

Ponte Vedra (18-4-3) at Stanton (20-2-1): Stanton edged visiting Ponte Vedra 2-1 earlier this month. Stanton's defense, anchored by seniors Abigail Lynch and keeper Kaylee Bean, will have its hands full in the rematch against Ponte Vedra's stout attack, led by Brooke Sharp (25 goals). Keeper Hannah Allerton and defender Erica Burt will contend with Stanton's solid offense, led by freshman Tabitha Raskiewicz (29 goals).

Region 1-2A

Bolles (15-8-3) at Episcopal (11-8-3): This could be one of the area's best showdowns tonight. The teams are 1-1-1 against each other this season with Episcopal winning the most recent contest 2-1 in last Friday's district final. Bolles might be without scoring threat Rachel Sorrells (19 goals, 16 assists), who has a facial bone injury after being kicked in the face in Tuesday's quarterfinal. Freshman Chelsea Burns leads Episcopal with 14 goals.

Region 1-1A

Oviedo Master's Academy (17-5-2) at St. Johns Country Day (19-2-2): St. Johns will have to contain dangerous forward Ashley Vezina and a Master's Academy team out for revenge after being ousted in this round the last two seasons by the Spartans. Carson Pickett (44 goals, 31 assists), Ellen Crist (28 goals, 14 assists) and Mallory Bane (20 goals, 29 assists) key the Spartans' attack.
