The Cardinal Mooney Catholic-Miami Country Day Class 3A girls basketball final scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Friday has been postponed until 10 a.m. Friday, March 5.

Both teams played Wednesday in the state semifinal: the Cougars defeating Oviedo The Master's Academy and Miami Country Day knocking off Tampa Brooks-DeBartolo, 66-44.

No reason was given for the delay, although speculation centered around one of the officials who worked the Miami Country Day-Brooks-DeBartolo game tested positive for COVID.
