Mount Dora Christian 8, Foundation Academy 0

Buzz: Zack Wilson had 2 hits, including a double, and 2 RBI for the Bulldogs while Cooper Chapman pitched the complete-game shutout with 9 strikeouts and Dallas Dale and Collin Priest each added 2 hits in the win. Nathan Andrew was 1-for-3 for the Lions in the loss.

Freedom 8, East Ridge 3

Buzz: Vincent Frieberger gave up just 3 hits and 1 earned run with 5 strikeouts in 6 innings for the Patriots while Andrew Liepshutz went 3-for-4 with a double. Zachary Shoemaker went 2-for-2 with a RBI for the Knights in the loss.

Lake Minneola 6, Tavares 5

Buzz: The Hawks scored a run in the bottom of the 7th inning to pull off the victory. Keegan Jay went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI for Lake Minneola while Jesse Johnson and Bradley O’Kane each had 2 hits. Dustin Dunlap had 2 hits and 2 RBI for Tavares.

Gateway 16, Jones 1

Buzz: Jose Montalvo went 3-for-3 for the Tigers with 2 RBI while Alejandro Rios had 3 RBI.

Lake Nona 4, Liberty 1

Buzz: Xavier Lopez pitched 6 innings for the Lions, giving up just one hit and zero earned runs while striking out 8 for the win. Cesar Chirinos went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI.

Buzz: Jayden Bastian went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored for the Royals while Khadin Bastian added a hit and 2 RBI in the win.

Buzz: Adam Lewis pitched 3 innings, giving up no hits and striking out 4 for the Wildcats to get the win. Justin Austin had a triple and home run while Tyler Williams added 2 hits.

Buzz: Fabian Matos had 7 kills and 7 aces for the Cougars (2-2) in the 25-6, 25-17, 25-12 victory. Sammy Gonzalo added 6 kills and 4 aces in the win.

Buzz: From Wednesday, the Silverhawks held off the Wolves (3-3) for a thrilling 26-24, 25-20, 20-25, 22-25, 15-13 victory.
