FIRST TEAM
Ryan Baker, D, Boca Raton senior: Team captain and three-year varsity member signed with Lynn University; proud of being a captain and having a winning record despite graduating 11 from last year’s state championship team; scored six goals and three assists from center back position.
Vicente DeBrito, MF, Royal Palm Beach senior: Four-year starter and three time captain scored 14 goals, 16 assists for the Wildcats; selected to All-State team; helped team win district title for the second straight year; played GK during PKs in district semifinals, stopping 3 PKs to advance to finals; plays volleyball.
David Gabbay, D, Spanish River senior: Two-year varsity member anchored a solid defense for the Sharks; scored six goals, 6 assists; called making final four for the first time in 24 years was career highlight.
Tomas Gomez, F, Spanish River senior: Played sophomore and senior years for the Sharks; scored 14 times and 5 assists; best thing that happened was helping get the school back on the soccer map by advancing to state semifinals for first time in 24 years.
Luke Ferazzoli, F, Park Vista senior: Scored 18 goals and 10 assists for Cobras; team captain was leading scorer and a four-year varsity member; most proud of beating defending state champion Boca High in district semifinals ending their season.
Lorenzo Jayakanthan, F, Atlantic senior: Played two seasons for the Eagles and finished this season with 17 goals and 7 assists in 14 games; holds five college offers; most proud of sharing moments with my teammates and being the captain of a team full of heart and hunger to win and be better every single day.
Tayton Osborne, GKP, Spanish River junior: Led the district with an 0.676 GAA; played 20 games, allowed just 12 goals and posted 8 shutouts; helped Sharks advance to first state semifinal in 24 years.
Alvaro Penaranda, MF, Wellington junior: Team captain and two-year varsity player scored 6 goals and 5 assist; helped Wolverines win their first district title in more than a decade.
Dakendy Philibert, D, Atlantic senior: Team captain all four years scored two goals and added assist for Eagles; said he will always remember when he fractured his ankle in his freshman year and players visited him after winning districts.
Emanuel Small, MF, Palm Beach Central senior: Two-year captain scored 6 times and assisted on 9 others for the Broncos; played all four years on varsity; career highlight for the Howard University signee was scoring a free kick in the district finals against rival Wellington.
Daniel Trani, MF, Boca Raton junior: Three-year starter scored seven goals and dished out 9 assists for the Bobcats; most proud that most of his goals came against difficult opponents; also plays volleyball, football; career highlight came last year when they won state title at 28-0.

COACH OF THE YEAR
Stephen Cochran, Spanish River: Guided the Sharks (17-2-1) to conference, district, and regional championships; lost 3-1 to eventual state champion Gulf Coast in state semifinal; marked first time in 24 years they reached the final four. “We had one of the best defenses in the state (only gave up multiple goals in 2 games this season) and had one of the most powerful attacks in the state (averaging about 4 goals per game). “We were underrated and I thought this team deserved to be in the state finals…They worked hard for each other and demonstrated what team really means.”
