Ponte Vedra 14, Bartram Trail 13 (OT): Ponte Vedra (8-3) held off Bartram Trail (12-2) in overtime in the first Rivalry on the River on Saturday afternoon at Episcopal High School in Jacksonville. At halftime, Bartram held a 9-7 lead. In the second half, Ponte Vedra come back to tie the game. It was tied 13-13 at the end of regulation. In the sudden-death overtime, Ponte Vedra's Trish Balser drove to the net and dished the ball to the streaking attacker Katie Stoudt who put it home securing the victory for the Lady Sharks.
Balser (2 goals and 2 assists) was named MVP of the game. Bartram Trail was led by Ryan Frechette (five goals) and Izzy DiFato (five goals).
Ponte Vedra plays host to Wolfson on Monday and Bartram Trail plays host to Lake Highland Prep on Thursday.

Ancient City Invitational: Ponte Vedra girls and boys picked up wins Friday at St. Augustine High.
Ponte Vedra's Amelia Coker led the way for the girls with wins in the 100 hurdles in 15.84, 300 hurdles in 47.13 and the long jump with a jump of 16-1.25. Ponte Vedra also had wins by Lauren Bing in the 800 in 2:27.46, Megan Grant in the high jump with a jump of 4-11, Bianca Fasanelli in the triple jump with a jump of 34-4.5 and Averie Kammerdiener in the javelin with a throw of 113-4.75.
Ponte Vedra's boys had a win by Grant Doherty in the 1,600 in 4:36.46. Nease's Cyrus Ways had another strong showing with wins in the 400 in 50.81 and the high jump with a jump of 6 feet 2.75 inches.
