The Panthers dominated Taylor in Friday's spring showdown.

Pine Ridge got off to a hot start and never looked back in a 27-0 blowout victory over visiting Taylor Friday.

Star running back Jalon Brown only played the first half, finishing with six carries for 50 yards. He broke free on a 34-yard run but was shaken up after the play. Brown sat out the rest of the game as a precaution.

Panthers quarterback Terren Harrison capped off the opening drive with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Sinsear Small.

Harrison added a 12-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to make it 14-0.

Just before halftime, Chaz Williams came in to take the snaps and danced his way 34 yards to the end zone to make it a 20-0 game.

Isaiah Robinson took all of the third quarter reps at QB and capitalized with a 24-yard touchdown strike where he avoided a sack and found Josiah Robinson.

The win was the unofficial first victory for Pine Ridge head coach Allen Johnson after going 0-3 in a COVID-shortened 2020 season.

"I'm proud of the kids ... they played pretty well," Johnson said. "We still have a lot of work to do before the fall but it felt good to get that first win for the kids."

Taylor never entered the red zone against a stingy Pine Ridge defense that forced three turnovers.
