Four Brevard County high schools had players recognized on the 2020-21 Florida Association of Basketball Coaches All-State teams for the year.

Astronaut's Jace Carter and Palm Bay's Mikyla Tolivert, the two players of the year for FLORIDA TODAY and both seniors, were named to first teams, while players from Cocoa and Rockledge were also honored.

Tolivert, last year's Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Basketball, made the 5A girls team. Tolivert averaged 17.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, helped the Pirates finish as the 5A state runner-up and chose to head to Georgia State.

Carter, who led his War Eagles team to the 4A state semifinals and is bound for Illinois-Chicago, made the Class 4A first team. He averaged 24.4 points and nine rebounds.

Senior Shakara Robertson of Cocoa (13.8 points per game) made the Class 4A girls second team, and Rockledge's Jamar Franklin (20.8 ppg), a junior, made the 4A boys second team.
