Lady Tigers clobber Chanute 22-12 in six innings

After a tie ballgame through three innings, the Fort Scott Tiger varsity softball team (2-1 in the SEK, 3-4 overall) built a solid lead to hold down the Chanute Lady Comets 22-12 in six innings Monday night at Don Hewitt Field.

The Lady Comets got out to a 1-0 lead heading into the second inning when the Tigers tacked on three runs to take a 3-1 advantage.
