Vikings take opener, but errors lead to loss in the nightcap

A two-run sixth inning was enough for the Winfield High School baseball team to defeat Rose Hill 11-10 in nonleague baseball action Monday afternoon at the Broadway Recreation Complex.

The Vikings committed 10 errors in the twinbill, six of them in losing the opener 13-4.
