Yes I know, it's not even the middle of July and already I'm talking about high school football.
I've been after all my friends to stop wishing the summer away, so I apologize ahead of time for doing the same.
So looking ahead to the upcoming Western Mass high school football season we won't be able to miss Kenny Chesney's latest effort, 'Hemingway's Whiskey'.
Due in stores, and of course on-line on September 28, 2010, 'Hemingway's Whiskey' will be Chesney's first true studio album in 3 years, and a folo-up 'Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates'.
I've been a big fan of this guy for years, and apparently so is everybody else.
Kenny Chesney is one of a gang of Country Music stars that have become true cross-over music stars.
They're music is just enough country to keep the true Country Music fans on course, and just mainstream enough to get play on the Pop and Top 40 stations around the country.
I found this today, and figured it might get everybody in the mood for September.
It's a great song and because of it's high school football theme, it should get a lot of play on all the sports outlets around the country.
So while I don't want to wish away the summer, we can still enjoy the music and think back to the days when we might have played, or attended a high school football game.
And yes, we still have plenty of summer left to enjoy.
