FEATS OF THE WEEK: No. 4 Lilburn, Parkview became the first school to win back-to-back titles in Georgia's largest class since 1979-80 (Valdosta) with a hard-fought 12-7 win over No. 20 Warner Robins, Northside in the AAAAA championship game . . . All-American quarterback Reggie McNeal scored four touchdowns and accumulated 382 yards of total offense to lead No. 10 Lufkin past regionally ranked Austin, Westlake, 38-24, for the Texas Class 5A/II state championship . . . With a national-record winning streak of 125 straight games, coach Bob Ladouceur and the Concord, Calif., De La Salle Spartans are National Prep Poll champs for the second consecutive year and fourth time overall. De La Salle passed the toughest test since its streak began by defeating third-ranked Poly, 29-15, on Oct. 6 before over 17,000 fans at Long Beach's Veterans Stadium.
