FEATS OF THE WEEK: Tyrell Sutton of Akron, Hoban rushed for 314 yards in a 42-21 win over Canton, Central Catholic. The Northwestern recruit is now Ohio's all-time leading rusher with 8,425 yards. Sutton also notched his state-record 34th consecutive game with at least 100 yards . . . Brentwood, Tenn., Brentwood Academy defeated Paducah, Ky., Lone Oak, 42-35, to give Carlton Flatt his 333rd coaching victory. Flatt now ranks first all-time among Tennessee coaches and is among the Top 10 winningest active coaches in the country . . . No. 3 Charlotte, N.C., Independence won its nation's-best 69th consecutive game with a 56-0 drubbing of Huntersville, North Mecklenburg. University of Georgia-bound quarterback Joe Cox threw for seven first-half touchdowns, including two to fellow Bulldogs recruit Mohamed Massaquoi. The Patriots have shut out three straight opponents and have won their seven games by a combined 379-31 . . . Junior running back Knowshon Moreno of Middletown, N.J., South rushed for 420 yards and seven touchdowns in a 63-7 rout of Neptune.
