The National Prep Football Poll is compiled by high school sports experts Jamie DeMoney and Jeremy Plowman and a panel of sportswriters. The national Top 25 and regional Top 10's follow with won-loss-tie records.

The National Prep Poll has been compiled weekly since 1987 and are the only national high school rankings distributed on the Associated Press national wire service.

FEATS OF THE WEEK: Third-ranked Cincinnati, Colerain captured its first Division I state championship with a record-breaking 50-10 win over Canton, McKinley. Over 16,000 fans at Canton's Fawcett Stadium watched the Cardinals set championship-game team records for most points and margin of victory. Quarterback Dominick Goodman set new records with 259 rushing yards and four touchdowns . . . No. 8 Valdosta, Lowndes outlasted Lilburn, Parkview, 17-14, before over 8,000 fans at Parkview's Big Orange Jungle for the Georgia Class AAAAA title. It was the third title for the Vikings and was state championship No. 26 for the city of Valdosta . . . Regionally ranked Acton, Mass., Acton-Boxboro extended the nation's second-longest active win streak to 50 by capturing its fourth straight division title. The Colonials routed Chelmsford, 28-6, in the 1A Super Bowl. Fourth-ranked Charlotte, N.C., Independence has the nation's longest win streak at 76 . . . For the ninth consecutive time, the Oklahoma Class 6A state championship was won by either Jenks or Tulsa Union. This year, No. 13 Tulsa Union is holding the trophy. The Redskins avenged its only loss of the season by defeating then-No. 6 Jenks, 27-17, before more than 16,000 fans at Tulsa's Skelly Stadium. Union has won two of the last three crowns. Jenks has won seven of nine.
